Biography

Tim A. Staum is an experienced and effective litigator in commercial disputes and family law. He represents public and private companies, as well as individuals in complex litigation, including multi-state and multi-party matters, minority shareholder disputes, franchise claims, financing and banking, anti-trust, insurance coverage and employment claims.

Tim also has extensive experience in family law matters.  He represents individuals in a wide array of divorce proceedings, including the division of marital assets and debt, determination of non-marital property, spousal maintenance, custody and child support.  He also handles paternity matters, adoptions and represents clients in connection with antenuptial agreements.

Tim’s practice involves all aspects of litigation, including attending to pretrial matters such as motions and discovery, trials, arbitrations and mediations.  He also has been involved in numerous appeals.
