Mackall, Crounse & Moore Scholarship
at the University of Minnesota Law School

With over 85 years of legal service to the business community, Mackall, Crounse & Moore wishes to recognize an important source of its success. In order to establish the Mackall, Crounse & Moore Scholarship, Frederick L. Thorson has made a gift of $250,000 to the University of Minnesota Law School.

Fred Thorson, a 1943 graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School is one of its most notable successes. Fred’s accomplishments in real property law during his career of over 50 years at Mackall, Crounse & Moore has allowed him the satisfaction of clients achieving their strategic mission.

Mackall, Crounse & Moore and Frederick L. Thorson recognize a lifetime relationship with the University of Minnesota. Many of the firm’s attorneys, some now Judges and elected officials, recognize the positive values and professional ethics fostered by the University of Minnesota Law School. This scholarship gift, to be awarded to students of need by the Law School, is meant to support those values and further the programs of one of Minnesota’s finest institutions.
